Bekah Z Flynn works across the Publicity, International, and A&R departments at Sub Pop Records, where she leads national and regional press campaigns for the label’s artists and oversees international marketing in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Mexico, and Latin America.
As an A&R representative, Flynn has signed artists including Weyes Blood, Nation of Language, Tunde Adebimpe, and Twisted Teens to Sub Pop’s distinguished roster.
Flynn moved to Seattle in the fall of 2004, joining Sub Pop’s Radio Department part-time while also working as the office manager of Chop Suey and as an assistant to the Northwest representative for ADA Distribution. From 2005 to 2010, she served as Label Manager at Suicide Squeeze Records before returning to Sub Pop in 2010.
